Ehōmaki (恵方巻, "lucky direction roll") is a roll composed of 7 ingredients considered to be lucky.
Ehōmaki are often eaten on setsubun in Japan.
Setsubun ("seasonal division") is a festival held on February 3 or 4, one day before the start of spring according to the Japanese lunar calendar.
Roasted soybeans (called "fortune beans" (福豆 fuku mame) are thrown either out the door or at a member of the family wearing an Oni (demon or ogre) mask, while the people say "Demons out! Luck in!" (鬼は外! 福は内! Oni wa soto! Fuku wa uchi!) and slam the door. (From Wikipedia)
But I don't do such thing on that day though.
The typical ingredients include kanpyō, egg, eel, and shiitake mushrooms.
People usually eat the ehōmaki while facing the direction considered to be auspicious that year.
I bought this seafood based Ehomaki from Circle K for 398yen.
Quite nice!!

Brioche Dorée is a famous chain of Bakery and cafe in France.
Their first franchise in Japan is at Yokohama(⌒‐⌒)
Brioche Dorée started in France 30 years ago as a single café bakery.
The brand quickly gained notoriety with its uniquely Parisian style and urban French cuisine.
The concept of freshly baked, homemade products with a quick service.

Spent my afternoon break at the most favorite bakery Gontran Cherrier.
http://gontran-cherrier.jp/
I love their pastries so much.
Their croissant is so crispy outside and fluffy inside.
And the left one is pain aux olives a.k.a olive bun.
I just love the simple but rich taste of the olive bun.
